Pawn Services

Need cash fast? In a financial inconvenience? As a pawnbroker, we offer secure loans to people who have personal property to use as collateral. We understand that each circumstance is different and we consider a wide array of items. Popular items that are pawned include jewelry, musical instruments, audio equipment, clocks, watches, coins, antiques, silver flatware, video game systems and games, tools, and other relatively valuable items as collateral.

If an item is pawned for a loan, the pawner may redeem it for the amount of the loan plus some interest. The amount of time, and rate of interest, is governed by the State of Oklahoma. If the loan is not paid, or extended, within the period, the pawned item may be offered for sale to other customers. The Department of Consumer Credit sets the duration of a pawned item as a 30 day loan plus a 30 day grace period to either extend or redeem the item.

Unlike other lenders, pawnbrokers do not report the defaulted loan on the customer's credit report, since pawnbrokers have physical possession of the item and may recoup the loan amount through outright sale of the item.

Pawn - How it works.

A pawn doesn't not require a credit check and it is considered a collateralized loan. Pawn Services have been around for centuries and it has helped people borrow money quickly. Pawn Shops are regulated by the state to ensure that business practices are balanced and fair.

The Basics

If you plan on pawning an item you must have a government issued ID. Types of acceptable identification includes drivers license, passport, or military ID that includes address information and a photo. Additionally, in order to pawn, you must be 18 years old and you must own the items you want to pawn. You cannot pawn property that someone else owns - even if it is a close friend or family member.

How it works

Our pawnbrokers would be happy to look at your items and make an offer on its value. If an agreement is reached regarding your item's value, we will need to get some personal information from you.

Upon completion of a quick form, we will exchange cash for your item. We then attach an identification tag to your item and store it in a secure location.

Pawn terms are regulated by the state of Oklahoma. At a minimum, pawn loans are set at 30 days. Interest will be charged for the first 30 days regardless if your item is picked up before the 30th day. Interest continues to accrue during an additional 30 day grace period. This is in place for your protection because it extends the actual term loan to be 60 days.

You can pick up your item(s) at any point so long as you pay the total costs of the loan plus the accrued interest. If you can't redeem your item(s) and need additional time, you can pay just your interest. That would refinance the loan which gives you an additional 30 days plus an additional 30 day grace period.

Additional Info

Your items are stored in a secured location and will not be removed. If you wish to not pick your item up, fail to make the interest payment, or complete the loan, we recover the item and have the option to list the item for sale.

We value our pawn customers and we are willing to work with you. If you are unable to make your payments on time, please give us a call during our normal business hours (918) 743-7712. In many cases, we can work with you by holding the item longer on a case by case basis.

Items we take

We always tell customers that it is best if you bring your item(s) in so that our pawnbrokers can take a look at your property. We will consider most all items of value and it would be worth your time to come in to our store. Common pawn items include gold, silver, jewelry, diamonds, loose stones, defense & arms, antiques, tools, rare and unusual items, electronics, memorabilia, mid-century modern items, neon, light fixtures, musical instruments, etc.

We have certified gemologists on staff and the will take a look at your gold, silver, jewelry, loose stones, diamonds, and similar items to offer fair prices on your property.
